Yes, this is correct.

What seems to be the problem?

            <description>Hi Larry,

There are a couple of things you can do.

First, if you want to use the Lightning Calendar extension you can simply install this from the Add On repository. If it installs without giving you an error message you are using 32 bit Thunderbird.

Another way is to look at the system tab in the control panel.

If you are running a 32 bit operating system you know for sure that you are running a 32 bit Thunderbird as well.

<description>Ahh, the SMTP server. I thought it referred to the POP3 server. Ok, fixed. The SMTP server at that site requires that I log into the POP3 server first. Fixed, but I wonder why it worked in the first place. Thanks.

            <description>Hi Brendan,

Try this:

With Outlook open, click Tools then IMAP Folders .

Select the folder you would like to subscribe to and click the subscribe button.

Each folder must be selected and subscribed to individually.

Click OK .

The newly subscribed folders will now appear in the folder list for your email account.

Cheers,

<title>Subject: How to Deal with Hotmail Junk Filter - by: Anders Vinther</title>
            <link>http://www.easy-email.net/forum/easy-email-forum/general-discussion/how-to-deal-with-hotmail-junk-filter#359</link>
            <description>Hi Brendan,

Thank you for posting your question on the forum.

You can effectively disable the hotmail junk filter by following these steps:
1. Sign in to your Windows Live Hotmail account.
2. Click on Options then select More options
3. Click on Rules for sorting new messages
4. Click New
5. Locate &quot;Step 1: Which messages do you want this rule to apply to?&quot;
6. From the first drop-down box select To/cc address
7. From the second drop-down list, choose contains
8. In the third text box, type your complete e-mail address .
9. Locate &quot;Step 2: What action do you want to apply?&quot;
10. Select move to Inbox
10. Click Save to save your settings.

Note that if you have mailing lists delivering emails to you without your email address in the To field you need to whitelist those on the &quot;Safe and blocked senders&quot; page.

To achieve the same for Gmail follow these steps:
1. Go to gmail settings by clicking the litte gears in the top right hand corner
2. Click Filters
3. Click Create a new filter at the bottom of the screen
4. In the Doesn't have box enter a long random string of characters. The idea is that no email will have this character string and therefore this filter will work on all incoming emails. If you are un-inspired you can use this string: kskjhfkjshfkhsdkhfksdjhfjhs
5. Click Create filter with this search »
6. Tick Never send it to Spam
7. Click Create filter

Once again thanks for raising this question in the forum!</description>
