Easy-Email

When I bought a new Windows 7 machine I fondly thought moving my messages from Outlook Express to Outlook would be a doddle. There turns out to be no direct route, and the indirect route failed for me. I was then advised by a good friend to try to rid myself of reliance on Microsoft and consider Thunderbird.

So I looked at Easy-Email as an alternative way of migrating, and it did offer significant advantages.

However at first glance it seemd a daunting prospect to set up a Googlemail account as well as Thunderbirds on two machines and transfer about 6000 e-mails linking the whole lot into my existing e-mail provider.

With a bit of help from Anders at Easy-Email (what a clever guy he is) all transferred just fine, and I am now happily using Thunderbird on my new machine with all my old history.

I might point out that I really am just a happy user of this system, and not Anders' brother. So good luck to what is evidently quite a new venture.
