Known issues
This section will help you to consider your choices before setting up Easy-Email.
Some email clients, while perfectly good for normal email use, are not as advanced as others or do not offer all of the functionality that is useful for email synchronization.
The table below shows exceptions. Most email clients do have the following capabilities so we only mention issues relating to clients that do not provide these capabilities. More detail is provided for each client further down in the table.

POP emails from this client to another client |
Not from free Yahoo. Yahoo Plus can do this at $19.95 a year. Be careful if you are looking at signing up to some other free webmail accounts. Some offer free webmail but their upgrade or paid for version is the one with POP. Others allow you to POP in but not POP out... a bit cheeky really! |
|
Start a draft email and finish it in another client |
Not possible in Outlook 2003 or 2007 or Outlook Express. Must be online in Thunderbird to start a draft email and finish it in another client. |
|
Automatic sending of signatures that match the email address from which you are sending mail. |
Not automatic in Gmail. Not automatic in Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail. Thunderbird 2.0 is the simplest we have found to date. |
