How to find your Mac Mail settings
Follow these steps to find the current Mac Mail settings for your mail server:

Right Click on the inbox of the account you wish to see the settings for.
In our example it is My Old Email Setup (POP).
Click Edit “My Old Email Setup (POP)”...

In the Account Information tab, make a note of the information.

For Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), select Edit SMTP Server List.

In the Account Information, make a note of the information.

Go to the Advanced tab, make a note of the information.
Click OK.

Go to the Advanced tab, make a note of the information.
- Close the window.
