Easy-Email

You can choose to download a copy of your emails so you can work offline as well. This means you will be able to read and respond to emails when you are on a plane or a train for instance. Once you get an internet connection again your emails will be sent.

You can choose which emails to have a local copy of on your computer by adjusting the Synchronization Settings.

• To modify the synchronisation settings go to Tools → Options...
  
• Go to the Mail Setup tab and click Send/Receive...
  
• Click Edit...
  
• Change the Receive mail items setting to Download complete items including attachments for subscribed folders.
  If you download headers only you will not be able to see the contents of emails offline.
  Click OK, Close and OK to return to the Outlook main window.
  
• Click Tools → IMAP Folders...
  
  
• Click Query to see all the IMAP folders.
  
• Folders you subscribe to will be downloaded for offline use.
  Here you can unsubcribe any folders you do not want to download.
  If you did not hide the Gmail All Mail folder in Gmail you can unsubscribe the folder here.
  Click [Gmail]/All Mail and Unsubscribe.
  Then click OK.
  

The next time you click Send/Receive, all your online email will be downloaded from Gmail. This might take a while depending on how many emails you have.
