Synchronize Outlook
Outlook is one of the most popular email clients for Windows users as it comes with the Microsoft Office suite of software programmes.
As you will know if you use Outlook, it is difficult to access your emails from multiple computers. (Nothing against Outlook, this is the same for all email clients!) The Easy-Email guides show you how to synchronize Outlook across multiple computers, without having to use expensive exchange servers or even having to pay an IT expert!
Important! Please make sure you read our article "Naughty Outlook" before you set up Outlook synchronization.
We show you how to synchronize Outlook so you can email anywhere!
Follow the Easy-Email guides and you can access your email anywhere, from any computer, whether your own desktop, your laptop or netbook, or even a computer in an internet cafe.
Anything you do on one computer is reflected on the others. Send an email and you have a copy in your sent mail folder on all your computers, read an email and it is marked as read on all computers...
And you just need to set it up once.
- No software purchase required, we use a free Gmail account to act as the "synchronization hub".
- No need to change how you currently work on your own computers.
- No messing around with settings or forwarding emails when you are out of the office. Your Outlook email syncs automatically. Easy!
- Manage all your email addresses in one window - personal, business, club etc.
- With just one login
- Each with their own Inbox, Sent Mail and folders of your choice
- Send emails from the email address you choose
- Add signatures that match the email address you choose (ie personal signature with personal email address)

Hi Jay,
To synchronize Outlook with Thunderbird you'll need to download the (free) Essential Guide to Thunderbird and the add on guide to Outlook (or vice versa). The videos will also show you how this all works. If you have multiple email addresses you'll need the Advanced Guides but start with the Essential guides. If you have any problems once you've followed the guides please post on the forum and we'll be glad to help.
cheers, Kerry
